TRINITY WILBOURN

Founder & Facilitator

Well first, my house burned down a few months after I started Arkitekt, which is not to say the work of Decolonization-Deconstruction-Reconstruction-Integration needs to happen so literally…but it did for me. It felt like an initiation into the calling of being a “keeper of the fire of transformation” (Gloria Anzaldua), and a blueprint-maker for the journey of Coming Home To Ourselves. My lived experiences are the backbone of Arkitekt, and keep me honest and humble in the great honor of stewarding our women’s circles.

I am an educator, intuitive healer, and writer, working at the intersection of Social Emotional Learning, Mind/Body Coaching, and Neuroscience.  With over twenty years combined experience creating and presenting curriculum, training facilitators, and coaching individuals, classrooms, and peer support groups, including eleven years experience in online, brick and mortar, and blended learning environments, I bring a multidisciplinary wealth of tools to my facilitation, and the ongoing co-creation of Arkitekt.

As a public educator, I have taught high school Humanities, World Lit, US Lit, Creative Writing, Drama, Reading Recovery, Philosophy, Advisory/Life Skills, Integrated Services, as well as running my school’s GED program and founding one of the 1st Mindfulness programs in my school district.

Additionally, I have over a decade of experience building Arkitekt, a former nonprofit (now LLC) focused on helping people come home to themselves through self-exploration, community connection, and spiritual growth.

I am a certified Mind/Body Coach through The Embody Lab, a trained SourcePoint Therapy Practitioner, and Mindful Schools trained Mindfulness Instructor. I have also received training in Safe & Sound, a program designed by Stephen Porges using sound to heal trauma, as well as being a student of Jalaja Bonheim’s Circlework lineage.

My passion is to equitably and inclusively coach and facilitate humans to reclaim their joy, move from the relentless pace of burnout to a sustainable and generous rhythm of work and life, and co-create vibrant communities of learning that act as humanized practice rooms for people to become more congruent and fully alive.

I especially have a heart for the long-term holistic health of educators, activists, and community space-holders.

My background in vocal performance, embodied movement, theatre, storytelling, interior design, education, collage journaling, writing, curriculum design, collaboration, white allyship, mentoring, mothering, and intuitive practices are all part of my offerings.

If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken yourself. If you want to eliminate all of the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative within yourself. Truly, the best gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.
