We seek to [re]awaken SOURCE

Arkitekt is rooted in the risk of belief.

When the vastness of God meets the restriction of our own humanity, words can’t hold it. The best we can do is find the moments that rhyme with this expansive heart of God.
— Gregory Boyle

Am I carving out space to intentionally pursue exploration of my spirituality?

This work begins with a belief in something bigger than yourself.  What you choose to call that is up to you.  It's not our job or our business to try to name or define your spiritual path.  What we do is cultivate space to foster dialogue and spiritual exploration for anyone who is curious.

Spirituality is not a destination-it is a lifelong engagement of working out what we believe in the presence of diverse community.

We believe Source is expansive and inclusive and revealed uniquely to every human using their own language and cultural contexts, and yet we recognize many words associated with spirituality hold deep triggers.  For this reason, we interchange God, Source, LOVE, Divine, and trust you to translate into the language of your own integrity.

We think what you call your belief is much less interesting than what you do with what you believe.

What we try to do is gather a motley group of people who identify differently on so many levels: spiritually, racially, culturally, socio-economically, to all sit together in the same room and lean in to whatever comes up.

We do not get together because we believe the same way, look the same, have similar interests, have the same set of "symptoms," or find ourselves in the same stage of life.  We do not get together because we think we know the answers.

We gather because we want to stay awake and we want to ask the questions.

We do this because we choose to be to ourselves and to each other the experience of LOVE we long to find in the world.

We seek to [re]awaken SELF

Arkitekt is breath on the spark of your soul.

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
— Howard Thurman

Who am I when I take off the roles I carry in my daily life? When I'm not doing all the things, who am I being?

We call Arkitekt a "Come As You Are" space.

You get to show up however you are, and I get to show up as I AM, and together we engage WHAT IS with honor and awe.

The hardest thing to do is to be with yourself with nothing to prove and nothing to hide.  The hardest thing is to choose to believe you are enough and unconditionally worthy of love, just as you are.

You already have what you need and you already know what you need to know.  This work is a remembering and reawakening to your True Self. It's your empowering journey and no one else can do it for you or take it away from you.

At the core is this discovery: You are Beloved.

This truth is not variable based upon how you look or act or think. It just is.

Coming home to yourself is a practice of living into your identity, which is LOVE.

We seek to [re]awaken KINDRED

Arkitekt is a return to an ancient knowing

Soul friends seek to safeguard each other’s uniqueness and nurture the growth of each other’s inner self. They seek to meet each other as whole people and help each other become whole people. Their love for each other translates into a desire that the other settle for nothing less than becoming all that he or she was intended to be. Soul friends become spiritual friends when they seek to help each other attend and respond to God. Sacred companions help us become more aware of the presence of the sacred.
— David G. Benner

Who can I share the deep things of my soul with? Who helps me birth myself?

We so often feel alone in our path, our process, and our pain, and as a result, we lose perspective.

Arkitekt gives you the place to experience the truth that you are not alone.

Arkitekt kindreds lean in to the tension of faith and doubt, truth and love, fight and surrender, reason and mystery.  We don't judge, we don't try to fix, we don't compare.

Arkitekt is not individualized therapy or self-actualization as end game. It is a practice of learning how to sit with yourself and honor whatever comes up, and as you do this for yourself, you increase your capacity to do this for others.

We are an interconnected body; what you do for yourself, you do for all of life.

Your freedom and aliveness ripple effect outwards to every person whose edges you touch, as well as the generations before you and those that will come after you.

There is activism inherent in the work.
